Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
Fruits
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries washed and drained

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the blueberries.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  2. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use fresh blueberries. If using frozen, do not thaw them before adding to the batter.
