  • 8 oz Linguine
  • 1 tbsp Salt for boiling water
  • 1 lb Fresh shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup White wine or seafood broth
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • 1/4 cup Parsley chopped, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated, for garnish
  • 2 pieces Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the fresh shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in the white wine and add red pepper flakes, stirring to combine.
  5. Toss the cooked linguine with the shrimp mixture.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
