Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
Pasta
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
Vegetables
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 cup bell pepper chopped
  • 1 cup tomato diced
Sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
Cheese
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  5. In a separate pot, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and add to the meat mixture.
  6. Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
