Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe avocados halved and pitted
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño seeded and minced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth or to your desired consistency.
  3. Add the diced tomato, chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro to the bowl.
  4. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
