  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp Hot sauce (your favorite brand)
Breading
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Hot Honey
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1 tbsp Red pepper flakes

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce. Add the shrimp and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Remove shrimp from buttermilk mixture and dredge in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Fry shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat honey and red pepper flakes over low heat until warm.
  5. Drizzle hot honey over the fried shrimp just before serving.
