Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons ice water as needed
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
  • 2 cups assorted fresh fruits such as berries, kiwi, or banana
  • 1/4 cup fruit glaze optional

Method
 

Crust Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a tart pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Add ice water gradually until the dough holds together.
  4. Press the dough into the tart pan and pierce with a fork.
  5. Bake the crust for 20 minutes or until golden. Let it cool.
Filling Preparation
  1. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Spread the pastry cream into the cooled tart shell.
Assembly
  1. Arrange assorted fresh fruits on top of the cream.
  2. Brush with fruit glaze if using.
