Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1 cup ripe mango, diced
Vegetables
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and minced optional for heat
Herbs and Seasonings
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 medium lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced pineapple and mango.
  2. Add the chopped red onion, red bell pepper, and minced jalapeño to the bowl.
  3. Stir in the chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
