Ingredients
  

Taco Shells
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water adjust as needed

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the vegetable oil and mix until crumbly.
  2. Gradually add water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
Shape the Shells
  1. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
  2. Use a cookie cutter or round mold to cut out perfect circles if desired.
Cook the Shells
  1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Cook each dough circle for about 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned and crispy.
  2. Remove from the pan and let cool slightly before serving.
